There is truly something for everyone…in the early days there was bird watching and badminton, now we have chick flicks and paddle tennis!

Our Mission Statement:

The Newcomers Club of New Canaan is a social organization dedicated to making the transition to life in New Canaan easier by providing opportunities for new friendships to be formed through activities with others who have similar interests.

Our Governance:

The Newcomers Club of New Canaan is run by a Board of Directors. The Board is run by a President and has approximately 35 members. Each board member has a specific set of responsibilities and holds his or her position for one year with the exception of the treasurer, which is a two-year position. During the spring of each year a new board is elected and approved for the Club’s fiscal year (June – May). Anyone interested in joining the board should contact a current board member in February to be nominated for a position.
