Our new member hospitality coffees and cocktail parties are a great way to meet other new and prospective members in an informal setting. You will also have the opportunity to meet some of our Board members and learn about all of the exciting upcoming events and activities the Club has planned.

Welcome to New Canaan!
With approximately 300 member families, we welcome you to explore all that the Newcomers Club of New Canaan has to offer. You have come to the right place whether you're looking for a playgroup for your children, planning to attend a fun social night out with your spouse and make new friends or have an interest you'd like to explore others. There is truly something here for everyone to get involved in! To be eligible for membership in the Newcomers Club of New Canaan, one of the following should apply: 

1. Membership is open to town residents who have lived in New Canaan for less than one year.
2. Membership is also open to those who have lived in New Canaan fewer than four years, have never previously been a member of the Newcomers Club of New Canaan, and experience a lifestyle change or transition (such as marriage, baby, stay-at-home mom, divorce, retirement, empty nest, etc.).
   Membership Dues Membership dues are currently $250 for four years. The Club year begins July 1st and ends June 30th. Any new members joining January 1st through June 30th of the current Club year will have the duration of their membership calculated from July 1st of the next calendar year.
