Furoshiki is the Japanese art of using fabric to decoratively and functionally wrap almost any item! It is a versatile and environmentally-friendly way to present your holiday gifts. From bottles to boxes, the variety of design and presentation is practically limitless. In this 2 hr event, you will bring an item you wish to wrap and we will walk through several different wrapping design options. We will provide each participant with a copy of the book

Wrapping with Fabric: Your Complete Guide to Furoshiki - The Japanese Art of Wrapping, one traditional extra-large double-sided wrapping cloth and several different options for wrapping your item. We will also provide hand-on guidance and troubleshooting.

The event will take place on December 18th from 12pm-2pm, at the home of Craft Club leader Emilie Hanson (132 Heritage Hill Rd).
