Horizons at The New Canaan Country School

Founded in 1964, Horizons at New Canaan Country School provides long-term educational and enrichment support to under-served students primarily from Stamford and Norwalk public schools. Our programs and services are designed to eliminate the significant achievement and opportunity gap experienced by these students and put them on track for success in college and career.

Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC)

The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC) is dedicated to improving the mental and behavioral health of children and teens through treatment, education, and community support. To better help children and their families struggling with emotional or behavioral problems, CGC implemented the Youth, Empowerment, & Support (YES) Mentoring Program. The YES Mentoring Program will provide children with an opportunity to enjoy recreational activities and engage in positive relationships with members of our community, while giving parents some valuable self-care time. This program enhances the likelihood of positive outcomes from children struggling with mental and behavioral health concerns.
